ATV
Knowing all you can about your ATV and the places you can ride is the best preparation for safe and enjoyable riding.
The ATV Rider’s course is 6-1/2 to 8 hour training program operated by CSC certified instructors. The curriculum, which is based on field-tested techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper ATV operation. The rider learns about controls, reading terrain, turning and climbing hills.
In Newfoundland Labrador, Regulations for ATV’s:

A person must be 16 to operate an adult size ATV (over 90cc).

A person aged 14 or 15 can operate an ATV up to and including 90cc, if accompanied and supervised by a person 19 years of age or older (supervised means in view and voice communication is possible).

A person under 14 years of age is not permitted to operate any size ATV.

Appropriate certified helmet is mandatory.
A signed consent form is required from the parent or legal guardian. No child will be allowed to ride without written parental consent and without the parent or legal guardian present.
